The obstacles are familiar to many of us in Connecticut.  As environmental advocates, community activists, educators and individuals we know the barriers to achieving our missions: lack of funds, time and political clout.  Please join us on Tuesday, November 14th, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, at the Yale Peabody Museum, in New Haven, for a discussion about how we might overcome such fundamental challenges.

This half-day meeting will bring together diverse groups of people from local communities to discuss shared concerns about the state of the environment in Connecticut and a proposal to create a new network called Connecticut Earth Network (CT EarthNet).

CT EarthNet has been proposed to serve as a resource that would assist community-based groups involved with environmental management with fundamental needs, facilitate the sharing of information, learning and expertise, and foster cooperation toward shared objectives.

For further information, call Brendan Hanrahan at (203) 767-6637 or email him at bhanrahan@ctearthnet.org.

We hope you will join us.
